Australian Championships were held at Dulacca, Qld 20 - 22 September.  91 dogs in the Maiden trial and Rob with RC Harlie placed 6th in the final.  Well done Rob and Harlie!

Cathie & RC Betty (Mascot Jill x Lookerbie Goolie) scores 95 + 94 to place equal 3rd in the Novice trial at Widgee (31 August - 1 September)

Rob & Wilderness Daisey scores 95 to place equal 2nd in the Maiden trial.

In her first trial ever, Belinda Croton worked RC Molly and RC Becky (Beaubula Tin x Lookerbie Goolie) in the Bush Handler event and placed 1st and 5th.  Good one Bel!

Robert and RC Yasi (RC Betty x MK Angus) made 3rd place over three rounds in the QWCDTAInc Open Working Cattle Dog Trial at Emerald Ag-Grow, also giving Yasi the highest scoring novice dog of the event.
Cathie made the final with both MK Angus and RC Jack Sparrow (Mascot Jill x RC Texan)... not a bad effort with about 100 dogs competing in the event.

We sold Cap at Emerald Ag-Grow - topped the sale which was fantastic and even better, he's gone to a good home near Clermont Queensland.  Thanks to Bill Faint for purchasing Cap.  Great photo taken by Wade Kerle (www.wade-kerle.com) of Cap in action demonstrating his great calculated heel on the day.

We have decided to offer Cap for sale at Emerald Ag-Grow Working Cattle Dog sale on Wednesday 10 July, 2013.  Cap has served us well as a paddock dog, weaner breaker, and brood dog.  We have retained five of his offspring to continue on his bloodlines.  Pups from his last litter to Beaubula Tin are working cattle, and trialling at 10 months old (see post on this blog re RC Mindy).  He is a very loyal dog, with calculated, low heeling ability.  He will suit weaner breaking, general paddock work and throws strong, keen and hard working pups.  View Cap's pedigree on Our Dogs page.
